About Financial Services Day
Financial Services Day is a community event designed to bring member firms from across the financial sector for a coordinated day of service and outreach. The focus is on making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
This initiative aims to promote financial literacy and empowerment for all age groups, address real community needs through impactful, hands-on engagement, and reinforce the industry’s image as a proactive and responsible pillar of national development.
In 2025, the Bahamas Financial Services Board launched its first Financial Services Day. Through this initiative, we successfully achieved the following:
- Issued 250 back-to-school vouchers totaling $25,000.
- Facilitated the opening of 140 Sand Dollar accounts.
- Conducted a FinGen Society Professional Clothing Giveaway.
- Supported financial literacy with the participation of 15 industry booths.
In 2026, we hope to achieve even more, and we look forward to partnering with you to make Financial Services Day an even greater success.
