Thank you for reaching out since our initial call to action to express your commitment to support the recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. We have set a goal of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) and we are encouraging member firms to please give generously.

WHERE WILL MY DONATIONS GO?

Many of you will have been moved by the scenes of utter devastation in the media and we implore you to consider contributing to our “Financial Services Cares” Initiative. BFSB and The Association of International Banks and Trust Companies (AIBT) will contribute all funds raised to the support the provision of shelter as a priority item in the national relief effort. As we have done in the past, we will segregate these funds and donate 100% of all monies collected to specific projects designed to provide shelter initially and once immediate needs are met, we will move to support projects with a focus on youth and education.

These circumstances are unlike anything experienced in our recent history. It will take a tremendous amount of resources to create some normality in the affected islands. We also encourage you to please go out and volunteer.  This is a long term multi-year endeavour of rebuilding Abaco and Grand Bahama.
