The Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) announced today that there is still time for members to submit nominations for the 2012 [Financial Services Industry Excellence Awards](https://bfsb-bahamas.com/news.php?cmd=view&id=3123&pre=y).

For the 12th straight year, BFSB is partnering with Professional Industry Associations to recognise individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to the development of the sector. Categories of awards include:

* Executive of the Year – CEO level;
* Professional of the Year – Any level of Management or Supervision;
* Achiever of the Year – Junior and Support levels;
* Mentor of the Year; and
* Financial Services Development and Promotion

The deadline for nominations is October 5, 2012 with an especially appointed Blue Ribbon Panel to make the final selections. The awards will be presented at the 12th annual Industry Excellence Awards Banquet on November 9th. Also to be announced at that time will be the winner of the annual Financial Services Student of the Year.
