**Ms. Jacqueline Hunt
Compliance Officer of the Year**

The Bahamas Association of Compliance Officers (BACO), has announced Jacqueline Hunt as its Compliance Office of the Year.

Ms. Hunt completed her tertiary level education at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Honours Chartered Accountancy Studies program in 1989. A year later, she successfully completed her professional accounting examinations and became a Certified Public Accountant. In 2004 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Education with specialty in Accounting from New York University, New York, United States. Additionally, she has been an active participant in local and international seminars and conferences on matters affecting the Financial Services Sector.

She joined Pictet Bank & Trust Limited, Nassau in March 2001 as an Assistant Vice President and worked in the Finance and Accounting department. She was appointed the Money Laundering Reporting Officer in 2001 for Pictet’s Nassau entities. In 2004, she was promoted to Head of Compliance for Pictet, Nassau. Currently, she serves as a valued member of the Bank’s senior management team and reports directly to the Managing Director and to the head of Compliance for the Pictet group in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ms. Hunt is an active member of BACO as well as The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
