**Grand Bahama: 50 Years & Growing**
The Grand Bahama edition of the annual ‘Bahamas Business Outlook’ conferences will be held on Wednesday March 3rd.
Under the theme, *”Grand Bahama – 50 Years & Growing”*, the event will be held in Freeport in the Camelot Room, Crowne Plaza Golf Resort & Casino at the Royal Oasis. The Bahamas Business Outlook conferences are organised by The Counsellors Ltd. *”This marks our sixth year in Grand Bahama,”* says Joan Albury, President. *”We’re proud of this achievement because it signifies our continued commitment to the Grand Bahama community.”*
In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the city of Freeport, the March 3rd conference will review Freeport’s past and preview its future. Notable speakers from the tourism, financial, communications, industrial, transportation and labour sectors will address BBO participants. These include the Minister of Tourism, the President of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce, the Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief Operating Officer of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited, the Port Director of the Grand Bahama Airport Company, the Deputy Chairman & Managing Director of the Hotel Corporation of The Bahamas, and the Managing Director, Bahamasair.

The ‘Business Outlook’ conferences began 13 years ago in New Providence, with this year’s Nassau edition held in January under the theme “Looking Out For Global Opportunities”. Following next month’s edition in Freeport, the seminar moves to Abaco in September, marking the second year on that island.
