There are five finalists in BFSB’s 2003 Financial Services Student Award programme.
The student award programme was introduced in 2002, to recognise outstanding College of the Bahamas graduates in various financial services sector disciplines. It is part of the Bahamas Financial Services Board’s ongoing Financial Centre Focus initiative, a key component of which is to raise the profile of the industry and its practitioners.
The winner of the 2003 Award will be selected on the highest score attained, based on factors such as GPA, College and Community Involvement, Awards, and an essay on the financial services sector. Also factored into the scoring process is an interview held with each of the finalists, during which they were graded on business/financial services acumen and overall comportment.
The Student Award will be presented at BFSB’s Annual Awards Banquet, scheduled for October 4.
