Bahamas Prime Minister To Host Regional Meeting

On Thursday, October 11, CARICOM leaders will meet in The Bahamas in an emergency meeting called to review the impact of the September 11 terrorist attacks on regional economies.

The Rt. Hon. Hubert A. Ingraham, Prime Minister of The Bahamas, serves as the current Chairman of CARICOM.

It is understood that prior to the session of Heads of Government, regional ministers and officials responsible for tourism, transportation, security and foreign affairs will be holding meetings as well.
