Royal Bank of Canada Trust Company (Bahamas) recently introduced an on-line service through its Executive Plus Account. The multi-currency Internet banking service allows Royal Bank clients based in the Caribbean to access and manage their money from anywhere in the world, 24 hours per day. The service also will be available to clients who regularly travel to or from the Caribbean.
Private banking clients would be assigned a dedicated Relationship Manager through the new Internet service, for assistance in managing the account as well as advice on wealth management issues. Royal Bank of Canada Global Private Banking introduced a similar programme in Jersey in 2000. The Caribbean service provides clients with the benefit of a locally-based Relationship Manager.
