Blacklisting

The Prime Minister of The Bahamas defines the government’s immediate and ultimate goals as:

– ensuring the integrity of The Bahamas’ financial services sector;

– bolstering the acceptance and respect of the wider international community;

– coming to terms with the recommendations of the OECD;

– removing the country’s name from the FATF black list; and

– the withdrawal of the US Advisory in the shortest possible time
